We have just finished another great RoboCup in Eindhoven, Netherlands, 11 years since Bold Hearts first competed with humanoid robots in the competition - at the same venue!
After the drop-in games we were able to fix some issues to allow us to compete. Our robots were able to see and walked out onto the field, responding to the game controller.
Not long after we had a few issues, the hardware began to deteriorate unexpectedly and some of our more advanced features were less reliable than found in previous testing.
In the end we got to round 2, and lost to the well performing Nubots, who placed a respectable 4th place overall.
A very large thank you to all of the teams, organisers and locals whom made this competition a great success. The Bold Hearts now begins planning for the next competition in Brazil for 2025.
